About the Journal

Capital Markets Review (CMR) is an immediate open-access scholarly journal published by the Malaysian Finance Association (Persatuan Kewangan Malaysia). The journal has published research since 1993 and has been published by the Malaysian Finance Association since 2004. CMR is issued twice a year, in March and September, and accepts manuscripts in English and Bahasa Melayu.

CMR publishes rigorous and relevant research in finance and capital markets, with particular interest in Malaysia, ASEAN and emerging markets while welcoming work of international significance. See the full Aims and Scope.

All content is available immediately without charge. Authors retain copyright and articles are published under CC BY 4.0. CMR charges no submission or publication fees. Submissions that pass editorial screening are normally evaluated by at least two independent reviewers using double-anonymous peer review.
